In so doing, they develop vital 21st century skills such as collaboration, creativity, leadership, and critical thinking.
This course aims to enable students to:
1. Become informed, reflective, and critical practitioners of dance
2. Understand and value the diversity of dance across time, place, and culture
3. Confidently use the body as an artistic tool for expression
4. Enjoy lifelong interest in and engagement with the arts
Through devising, preparing, presenting, and critically reflecting on dance, students will gain a richer understanding of themselves, their community, and the world.
