Bishop Conaty Our Lady of Loretto High School is excited to invite our school families and community to the Conaty Connections Star Party, hosted in partnership with the Los Angeles Astronomical Society.
The event will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. During the evening, volunteers from the Los Angeles Astronomical Society will set up telescopes on campus for attendees to observe stars, planets, and other celestial objects while learning more about astronomy and the night sky. Volunteers will also be available to answer questions and guide guests through the viewing experience.
This special community event is open to BCL families and members of the surrounding community.

This will be a low-light event to support optimal viewing conditions and reduce light pollution.

No food or drinks will be permitted on the field due to the telescope equipment being used during the event.
