Parent Service Hours

All families are required to complete 25 parent service hours per academic year as part of their enrollment agreement. These hours support school events, student programs, and campus needs throughout the year. Families may choose to opt out by making a $250 donation in place of completing hours.

 

Guidelines for 2025–2026

  • Hours must be completed by May 1, 2026.

  • Credit is given hour-for-hour based on actual volunteer time.

  • Excess hours do not carry over to the next school year.

  • Students may not earn hours on behalf of a parent or guardian.

  • Working hours for another family must be approved by the Principal.

 

Donations to Earn Hours

Families unable to work events may earn hours by donating approved items such as supplies for classes, clubs, office use, or maintenance, and must be pre-approved by Officer Vargas prior to donation. 

  • For every $10 in value, 1 service hour is credited.

  • Receipts are required for verification.

 

How to Receive Credit

To receive credit for an event or activity, volunteers must submit a signed Parent Service Hour Coupon from Officer Vargas.

 

Unfulfilled Hours

After May 1, 2026, any unfulfilled service hours will be billed at $30 per hour.

 

Opt-Out Option

Families may opt out of service hours completely with a $250 donation for the year.
