Equestrian Club/Taking the Reins

The Equestrian Club is for students who love horses.  The club raises money for trail rides, local horse events and to support Taking the Reins.  Students may sign up for club membership at Clubs Rush each year. 

 

Taking the Rein's Equestrian Program offers teens the experience of learning complete horsemanship: riding, barn procedures and safety, equine science, and horse care including nutrition and health care. All the components of the program promote responsibility, the importance of working together, and leadership.  Partnering with Bishop Conaty - Our Lady of Loretto High School, Taking the Reins provides a unique learning opportunity for our students.

 

There are several six-week sessions offered throughout the academic year.   Students should speak to Ms. Corso about joining a Taking the Reins Session.
