Ways to Give

Below is a list of tax-deductible ways of giving that will impact the life of a student receiving an all-girl education at Bishop Conaty - Our Lady of Loretto High School.
 
Bishop Conaty-Our Lady of Loretto High School is recognized as a IRS tax-exempt qualified charity. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowable by law.
Cash gifts are the simplest and easiest gifts you can make. They can be made through credit/debit card transactions, online donations, cash, personal checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders made payable to Bishop Conaty-Loretto HS.
 
Matching gifts are an easy way to double or even triple your donation to Bishop Conaty-Our Lady of Loretto High School. Matching gift programs offered through participating companies typically match all or a percentage of employee contributions to charitable organizations, making the employer a partner in employees’ personal philanthropy. Simply obtain a matching-gift form from your employer’s personnel office, fill it out, and provide it to the Office of Institutional Advancement with your contribution.
 
Some donors take the opportunity to give to the school by providing tangible items such as computers, office or athletic equipment, books or other items related to our educational program. The Development Office can help you determine the acceptability of gifts as well as potential tax benefits and implications of gifts in-kind.
Establish a legacy at Bishop Conaty - Our Lady of Loretto High School and benefit future generations by allowing us to continue providing a quality Catholic education.  Many people leave a legacy to a cause that has impacted their life.   There are several ways you can make these planed gifts while maintaining control of your assets throughout your lifetime.
 
  • Name Bishop Conaty - Our Lady of Loretto High School in your will or living trust (designate a specific amount, percentage or residual share).
  • Contribute long-term appreciated stock or other securities and receive immediate charitable deduction while avoiding capital gains tax.
  • Donate tangible personal property related to our tax-exempt function of providing a Catholic education.
  • Include us as a beneficiary in your bank accounts, policies, annuities or real estate.  Indicate Bishop Conaty - Our Lady of Loretto High School as a  percentage rather than a dollar amount.
