Live Event Production at Bishop Conaty Our Lady of Loretto gives students a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring a live show, concert, or campus event to life. Whether it’s a school play, dance showcase, or community celebration, our students are the hands-on team making the magic happen.

This course introduces students to the full scope of event production, from technical setup and sound design to lighting, staging, and logistics. They gain real-world experience using industry-standard equipment while learning how to work as part of a professional production crew.

Students explore core topics such as:

• Audio and lighting setup

• Stage design and safety

• Microphone and monitor placement

• Cue calling and communication protocols

• House and backstage management

• Event promotion and ticketing

Live Event Production students are responsible for preparing and supporting many of our school’s biggest events, building leadership, accountability, and creative problem-solving in every project.
